Located just two hours from Paris, between Caen and Deauville, Cabourg is one of the cities bordering the Flowery Coast, together with Houlgate, Trouville, Deauville and Honfleur. When should I come?
At the gateway to the Pays d'Auge (area in Normandy), Cabourg has an oceanic climate with mild summers and cool winters. Average temperatures fluctuate between 8° in winter and 22° in August. As for the sea, the temperatures are mildest in August and September, these being also the warmest months. So, opt for a stay between May and September to enjoy the milder months, but note that these are also the peak tourist months.

How to get there?
By car: whether you come from Paris, Rouen or Caen, the A13 highway takes you directly to Cabourg. Take the exit 30, and here you are!
By train: from Paris Saint-Lazare train station, you can reach Cabourg, via Deauville and Trouville, in around 3 hours 30 minutes. From Caen train station, the Bus Verts (interregional buses in Calvados) shuttle to Cabourg within 35 minutes.
By plane: located 45 km away from Cabourg, Caen Carpiquet airport is the nearest one. You can also choose the Deauville airport (28 km away, but with much less air traffic).
