Events in Cabourg

The seaside resort of Cabourg is known for its rich cultural life throughout the year.

In February and March, the city hosts a square indoor ice rink of more than 375 m2 with an outdoor ice road of 120 m2. Beginners and experienced skaters are both welcome to skate on the rink!

In April, Cabourg welcomes young actors from all over France during the Festival du Théâtre Universitaire et des Grandes Écoles (Festival of Academic Theatre), while the Récré'Actif Games Festival sets up new play areas for children and adolescents.

In May, the Jumping de Cabourg (an equestrian event), open to amateurs and professionals, features show jumping, bringing together all horse lovers. Furthermore, note that since its creation, the competition contributes to the MS research.

As for music, the Du côté de chez Swing festival organises classical jazz concerts and meetings with musicians on the streets of the city and in the Casino gardens.

June is the month of the Cabourg Film Festival, where you can watch previews and screenings of short and feature films in the presence of actors and film directors.

In July and August, the Cabourg club offers about 30 sports and cultural activities for the whole family: tennis, golf, massages, sound and light shows, guided walking and cycling tours, dance classes, fishing on foot, tourist rallies, street concerts, harnest racing, night markets, etc.

Les Toiles de Mer is an unusual event that brings together the generations and invites children and their parents to paint the seaside along the Marcel Proust Promenade. It' s a creative and unifying experience!

Each year, more than 4,000 people enjoy a convivial meal during a diner (Le Dîner sur la digue) on the seawall overlooking the 4 km of beach, to the sound of live music and shows.

In October, during the Discovery Week, children can take part in more than thirty activities at reduced rates, including karting, sand yachting, dance and drama classes.
